Join us for 3 days of fun in the beautiful
and quiet Pleasant Ridge Park, Fairview Heights, Il
This knap-in is the oldest in the Midwest and we'll be celebrating our 33nd consecutive year. Free primitive camping is available on site (no ground fires) and there are dozens of restaurants and motels nearby. There will be a free attendance prize drawing on Saturday, at 2:00 pm, and it will feature 60 or 70 donated prizes. Evening slide/lecture programs will be presented on Friday and Saturday, so bring a chair. Musicians, bring your instruments. This year, we will be charging a $5.00 per family, fee to cover pavilion rental, postage and other expenses. Do not arrive on Sunday as everyone will be heading for home before noon. At 9:00am, Sunday morning, Larry will host a guided tour of Cahokia Mounds.
From St. Louis, Mo. take I-64 East to exit 12 (hwy.159) North on 159, 6/10 mile to left turn lane for East O'Fallon Drive (stoplight). Turn left onto East O'Fallon Drive 1.3 miles to RR tracks. Go 100 feet to Pleasant Ridge Road about 1/2 mile to park entrance at top of hill.
